Dear Fellow ECEs,

This last year, 2011, has been a great one for our organization. For the second time around, we have proven that we are achievers, as our IECEP-UAE family was named “2011 Most Outstanding IECEP Foreign Chapter”, and proud to have one of our advisers, Engr. Virgilio E. Javier, chosen as the “2011 Most Outstanding ECE in the Field of Computer & IT”. With your support, we made a mark in the history as we have successfully hosted the IECEP Middle-East Convention. In addition to this, we have implemented and completed various activities for the whole year – Technical Seminars; SPLBE; Sports Fests; Charitable activities, among others, with our hearts glued to continually serve not only our fellow ECEs, but the whole Filipino Community.

Great expectations await 2012. Priority will be given to building a stronger relationship among members, SPLBE preparation, Seminars & Workshops (Technical+Character building & Personal Development), and more Charitable events. The new set of Board of Directors had convened and drafted the 2012 Calendar of Activities, which will be officially presented during the Induction Ceremony next month.

As we continue our service to our fellow ECEs and the entire Filipino Community, let us all move forward and welcome the New Year 2012, full of hopes and positive thoughts. Every year is a new beginning; and every year brings new opportunities.

As your new Governor, I am encouraging you to actively participate in all of our activities, with a selfless mind & heart – thinking of what we can do for the organization, for our fellow ECEs. Because every good deed we do, bounces back to us, and that's how we benefit. We all have much to contribute to each other. So let us, altogether, continue to strive, explore, grow, live and learn as One Organization, One Family.
